São Paulo hosts exclusive Data Center World content during Futurecom 2025

The world's leading data center and digital infrastructure event will be at the 30th edition of Futurecom at a time when Brazil shows favorable conditions for sector development

São Paulo, August 2025

For the first time, Brazilian technology professionals will have privileged access to content from the renowned Data Center World without leaving the country. Futurecom 2025, recognized as Latin America's largest connectivity and innovation event, will host two special panels curated by the world's most important global data center and digital infrastructure event, organized by Informa in the United States. Renowned experts from Brazilian companies will present in-depth discussions on two critical topics for the sector: "Hybrid infrastructure orchestration in cloud, Edge and traditional data centers" and "Building new data centers: construction, design and architecture". The panels represent a unique opportunity for Brazilian professionals to access cutting-edge knowledge and global trends in the data center sector without the costs associated with international travel. The panels will take place on October 1st, from 2 PM to 4 PM, at the ISP Next Level Arena, in a space open to event visitors.

According to Fernando D'Ascola, head of the Infrastructure and Technology Portfolio at Informa Markets, responsible for Futurecom, "DCW's presence will provide Futurecom's audience with strategic connections between global players and discuss trends about the future of Data Centers in Brazil with high-level experts, understand the next steps, in addition to networking opportunities with leaders in this sector; All of this, with DCW's endorsement".

DCW is recognized for addressing topics such as sustainability, energy efficiency, automation and information security, and is in line with Brazil's competitiveness in hosting large data centers. Currently, the country concentrates more than 40% of the data center capacity of all of Latin America. What generates this capacity are conditions such as cheap and clean generation energy – from hydroelectric, wind, solar and even biomass sources –, geophysical stability and the extension of the coastline, which allows connections via submarine cables with the United States, Europe and Africa. Added to all this, another differential is the availability of fresh water, essential for cooling systems.

The data center market worldwide is growing exponentially. A recent study by Research & Markets consultancy projects that the sector will reach globally the amount of US$ 613.36 billion in 2033, compared to US$ 237.07 billion in 2024. Therefore, Futurecom opens to all visiting public the panels led by DCW, which will feature:
