Data Center World Brazil brings together around 100 executives in São Paulo and reinforces the country's strategic role in digital infrastructure
The meeting marked the launch of the Brazilian edition of the leading global event in the sector and brought together industry leaders to discuss growth opportunities, innovation, and investments in data centers
São Paulo, June 2026 - The accelerated growth in demand for digital infrastructure and investments driven by Artificial Intelligence place Brazil at the center of attention for the global data center industry. In this context, around 100 executives, specialists, and representatives from the sector's leading companies participated this week in São Paulo at the Warm Up Dinner promoted by Data Center World Brazil, a meeting that officially marked the launch of the 2026 edition of the event.
Organized by Informa Markets, the gathering brought together leaders from the digital infrastructure chain for an evening of networking, experience sharing, and presentation of the main highlights of the next edition of Data Center World Brazil, which takes place from October 6-8, 2026, at São Paulo Expo.
During the event, participants discussed topics that have been shaping the industry's future, such as expansion of installed capacity, energy security, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, connectivity, sustainability, and specialized workforce training.
The meeting also highlighted the favorable moment being experienced by the Brazilian market. Currently, the country concentrates around 75% of data center investments in Latin America and is consolidating itself as the main regional hub for digital infrastructure projects, driven by the availability of renewable energy, growing demand for digital services, and expansion of technology investments.
More than a business platform, Data Center World Brazil was created with the purpose of contributing to the strengthening of the national digital infrastructure ecosystem. "Data Center World aims to support the development of this market in Brazil and be the stage for the main discussions about technology, energy, infrastructure, legislation, and everything involving this important segment of the economy," states Leonardo Benedicto, event director at Informa Markets.
The dinner program also featured a special panel led by Sylvia Bello, founder and CEO of ITLTECH and ambassador of Data Center World Brazil, and Carlos Mesquita, an executive with extensive experience in technological infrastructure, media, and entertainment, including stints at Globo and Netflix. The conversation addressed the challenges of digital transformation and the sector's prospects in light of the advancement of Artificial Intelligence applications.
Market interest in the Brazilian edition is already reflected in the participation of major global suppliers of technology, energy, connectivity, and critical infrastructure.
For Paulo Vizaco, Kingston's Country Manager in Brazil, the company's participation follows the growth potential of the national market. "Brazil is one of the company's focuses due to the potential of the data center market, and we couldn't miss this event that is already a reference outside Brazil. Our expectation is to further strengthen our relationship with local data centers," he states.
Vertiv also sees the event as a strategic opportunity to expand relationships with customers and partners. "Our cutting-edge power and cooling technologies are already known in the market. We want to interact more and more with our customers, and our participation in Data Center World will be an excellent opportunity for that," highlights Leticia Ximenes Corrêa, Marketing Manager at Vertiv.
For Luis Nishi, LATAM Business Development Director at Mendes Holler, the event's arrival in Brazil further strengthens the local ecosystem. "As a market leader in data center construction, maintenance, and management, we couldn't miss the Brazilian edition of Data Center World, which is already considered the main global meeting for digital infrastructure and now has a Brazilian edition," he states.
Internationally recognized, Data Center World is present in markets such as the United States, Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Austria, and the United Arab Emirates. The Brazilian edition is part of the brand's global strategy to foster knowledge, innovation, and business generation in one of the most relevant segments for the digital economy.
The organizers expect the October edition to bring together suppliers, operators, corporate users, specialists, associations, and public sector representatives to discuss the challenges and opportunities that will define the future of digital infrastructure in Brazil and Latin America.
DCW takes place simultaneously with Futurecom, the leading event dedicated to the digital economy and innovation in Latin America.
